Florida Probe Linking Instructions

CS SoftDent Software

If you already have the CS SoftDent (Add-On) Charting Module, then the link to Florida Probe is built-in and you can follow the Set Up Instructions below to activate it. Please note that this linking option is not required to use Florida Probe as your Peridontal Charting Software and SoftDent for your Practice Management Software.

 

The link between SoftDent and Florida Probe allows you to pass the patient's name and chart number to Florida Probe, but this one-time procedure can easily be done manually without the link.

Set Up Instructions

Step 1:
After starting SoftDent select 'Patients'


Step 2:
Select the name of the patient from the 'Patients List'
After selecting a patient, double-click the 'Patient's Chart' button.

Step 3:
In the 'Mode' menu, select 'Start Florida Probe for Patient's name"
The Florida Probe software will be started and SoftDent will automatically transfer the minimum required patient information, you may start the Periodontal exam using FP32.
