Florida Probe Linking Instructions

Datacon Practice Management Software

Please note that this linking option is not required to use Florida Probe as your Peridontal Charting Software and Datacon for your Practice Management Software.


The link between Datacon and Florida Probe allows you to pass the patient's name and chart number to Florida Probe, but this one-time procedure can easily be done manually without the link.

Set Up Instructions

Step 1:
Close out of Datacon.

Step 2:
Search for program 'pcLink Setup'

Step 3:
Go to the 'Integration' Tab.
a) Click on the 'Florida Probe' Tab.
b) Check the box to enable the integration.
c) Browse to the FP32.exe (executable for Florida Probe) using this path:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Florida Probe Corporation\FP32\FP32.exe


Step 4:
Close out the 'pcLink Setup' tool and save the changes.


Step 5:
The FP link will appear on the top Right corner of the screen.
