The Patient Education section is a great patient motivator and marketing tool for the practice. Now while the hygienist leaves the room for a few minutes to retrieve the sterilized Handpieces the computer is busy explaining the exam and educating about periodontal disease. A patient that is educated is more likely to be proactive about seeking needed therapy and motivated to complete home-care requirements.

This section educates the patient about what is involved in their first periodontal exam. It also alerts them to listen in during the exam and to look for any areas of concern displayed in red.

Second Visit Information
This section informs the patient about what to listen to during a repeat visit. It also alerts them to review data displayed in red and pay attention to any change arrows

New Patient Take Home Education Handout

This handout contains all of the text information gone over in the first three demos. You may preprint this handout and then print the graphical chart on the opposite side to send home with each patient. This helps to reinforce the patient education information, acts as a marketing tool for the practice, sells needed therapy and improves home care compliance.
