Before attempting the linking procedure, you must be aware that you need the to purchase the Florida Probe link program from Dentrix for the integration to function properly.

The Dentrix linking instructions are divided in two sections. The first section is a one time set-up procedure to enable the functionality of the link. The seconds section is the implementation procedure that you must go through to start your periodontal exam.

One Time Set-up Procedure

Insert the Florida Probe Link disc in you computer.
The installation process will autostart.

When prompted about the license agreement, click "Yes".

Click "Next" in the set-up dialog box to begin the installation.

It will prompt you when it finishes the installation procedure.

Florida Probe Integration Implementation

With the Florida Probe hardware installed to your computer you may start your regular "Open" procedure for the Dentrix Software.

Select a Patient. Click on the "Patient Chart" button.

You will be taken to the "Patient Chart" window.

Click on the "DentriXlink" button on the toolbar.

The DentriXLink program box will prompt you to select continue. Click "Continue".

A box will appear on the right-upper corner of the screen. Click the Florida Probe logo.

The Florida Probe software will launch and the Patient Information and Chart number will be automatically transfered to FP32.

You may start your regular periodontal exam procedure.
